2014 Thanksgiving/Christmas Food Baskets/School
Our ECC, PREP and School will once again help feed the hungry during the holiday season. Each grade level is asked to bring in a few food items to be shared between the inner city food pantries. Collection will begin on Monday, November 17 and conclude on Thursday, November 20, when the students will bring their food items from their homerooms and place them in the baskets in the narthex on their way to Mass. To ensure a variety of items for the pantries we have divided the need among the grades:
*ECC, PreK-1st: cereal and breakfast items
*2nd & 3rd: macaroni and cheese, tuna
*4th & 5th: spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, chili
*6th-8th: peanut butter and jelly
Opportunities for parishioners to pick a tree tag with various requests will begin the weekend of November 22nd and 23rd. All gifts are to be brought to the narthex the weekend of December 6th-7th and deposited in the boxes according to the agencies named. We will deliver the gifts on Wednesday, December 10.
