The 18th Annual Prairie Day is upon us. On May 7th, you will notice that our fourth graders have gone back in time. They will be dressed in prairie attire. Our fourth grade students will spend the day living like the pioneers that came to Missouri in the early 1800’s. They will spend the day making candles, doing laundry, making tool boxes, learning how to tin punch, and Burr Oaks will be there to talk about prairie animals and plants. They will also make applesauce and ice cream. The fourth graders will eat their lunch from a tin pail and play old time recess games. It should be a fun filled, memorable day for all!!!
