St. John LaLande Catholic School is accredited by North Central Accrediting Association, now known as AdvancEd. We are also accredited by the Missouri Non Public Accrediting Association. All of our teachers are certified and 48% of them hold Master’s Degrees or higher. We offer a full program from Preschool to 8th grade. We offer small class sizes, individualized instruction and a family environment.

St. John LaLande strives to keep class sizes small. Our teacher to student ratio is 1:16.
Education and Curriculum
St. John LaLande provides high quality educational services for Preschool through Grade 8, including full-day Kindergarten. We uphold high academic standards including a strong emphasis in the traditional subject areas of math, reading, science, language arts and social studies. We also offer a highly regarded music curriculum, art in grades Prek-5, physical education, computer applications. Spanish, Yearbook and Newspaper classes are offered for students in Middle school.
At St. John LaLande, religion is not merely a specialized subject, but an integral part of the entire school program. All students attend regularly scheduled religion classes. Grades K-8 attend Mass weekly. Students also participate in additional prayer opportunities throughout the year including Adoration of the Eucharist, Living Rosary, and Stations of the Cross.
Scouting and Athletics Programs are available for both girls and boys. Sports include Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Cheerleading and Track for various ages. We also offer 2 Children’s Choirs and instrumental instruction, drama club and performance opportunities.
