Sixth grade students are studying Ancient Greece and the many gods and goddesses that were significant in Greek mythology.
Welcome to St. John LaLande School, where we pride ourselves in being a community, where together, we help our children achieve academic excellence and develop strength of character that are rooted in strong values and a commitment to service.
St. John LaLande provides education for children in Preschool through Grade 8. We are an accredited school and are a member of the North Central Accrediting Association and Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Association. As a faith-based school, we learn about God’s love and we are guided in a Christ-centered environment. Our highly educated and experienced staff are dedicated to the vocation of teaching; they encourage and challenge their students each and every day.
St. John LaLande is truly a place where students are: Rooted in Faith. Grounded in Excellence. Prepared for Success.
St John LaLande Preschoolers celebrate the completion of their study on Community Helpers!
Dr. Dan Peters , our Superintendent of Schools, John O’Connor, Principal at O’Hara High School, and John Purk, President of the new St. Michael the Archangel High School, will be at St. John LaLande for a meeting.
In first grade the children draw a name of a president out of a hat. They then must research that president and find out at least 5 facts about that president.
Join the challenge this Lent as we provide for the needs of the poor. Each week, we ask that you bring in one of the items listed.
